Registered Echo Technician / Sonographer
Location: Brooklyn NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Pay Rate: $50$60/hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Registered Echo Technician/Sonographer for a short-term assignment in Brooklyn NY. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of hands-on experience with a preference for pediatric cardiac sonography. This role involves performing diagnostic echocardiograms and stress tests in a fast-paced clinical environment while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiograms primarily on pediatric patients
Conduct cardiac stress testing as required
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support accurate diagnosis
Ensure patient safety comfort and professionalism during all procedures
Accurately document patient data and diagnostic findings
Maintain calibrate and ensure proper functioning of echocardiography equipment
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Echo Technician/Sonographer
Pediatric echocardiography and stress testing experience preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate approach to working with pediatric patients
Education Requirements
Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program
Military ultrasound training accepted where applicable
Certifications & Licensure
Required:
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) ARDMS OR
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) CCI
Preferred:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
