KTA has an opening for a motivated inquisitive and mechanically inclined General Laborer to support our Coatings is a full-time position located at KTAs Future Labs office in Madison MS. Responsibilities include:- Assisting with preparation of laboratory samples including coating application.
- Performing standard coating tests;
- Taking ownership of the laboratory including housekeeping safety inventory and maintenance of equipment;
- Compliance with standard operating procedures; and
- Being an active engaged employee-owner always looking for process improvement opportunities.
This position is open to all candidates with the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Prior related experience will be considered in lieu of a diploma/GED
- Mechanical aptitude
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time type speak hear lift up to 40 or more pounds safely and wear a respirator; close color depth distance and peripheral vision with the ability to adjust focus; and manual dexterity to manipulate small objects and instruments.
