Job Summary

Kadiak LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a high-performing Lead Full-Stack Developer / Architect to serve as the Technical Anchor for a sophisticated cloud-native modernization initiative. This role is responsible for architecting the end-to-end solution within a native Microsoft Azure environment encompassing web and mobile interfaces complex backend APIs and automated CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will lead a cross-functional DevOps team to deliver a Build Once Deploy Many (BODM) architecture designed to eliminate process backlogs and enhance service delivery at the enterprise level. Ability to obtain a Public Trust (Moderate Risk) Clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer. This position may require travel for site discovery and deep validation sprints. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Design and develop a complex Power Apps Canvas application with Power Automate Connectors and Azure Function app APIsDesign and develop PowerBI AI Builder low code no code AI user assistance into applicationsIntegrate bot services for complex AI user assistance into applicationsLead the development of a Build Once Deploy Many (BODM) solution that functions natively across web and mobile (iOS/Android) platformsDesign and implement high-level system architecture featuring an integrated API layer workflow layer and data lake clusterLead the development of a Build Once Deploy Many (BODM) solution that functions natively across web and mobile (iOS/Android) platformsAssist with CI/CD pipelines and ensure all application telemetry is formatted for ingestion by enterprise monitoring tools (e.g. Azure Monitor)Lead and mentor cross-functional Developers and DevOps team members in best practices and modern development methodologiesMaintain code quality standards and conduct architectural reviews to ensure scalability security and maintainabilityProvide technical guidance and decision-making for complex architectural challengesEnsure solutions meet federal security and compliance requirementsEducation and Experience:Required:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited college or of 810 years of professional software development experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or architectural capacityProven relevant experience within the last 18 months in software development and Artificial Intelligence (AI) integrationExtensive experience building and deploying applications within Microsoft Azure (FedRAMP Moderate) Platform Specialized Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)Preferred:Advanced degrees (Masters or Ph.D.) in Computer Science or related fieldRequired Skills and Competencies:Exceptional communication skills in English both written and oral and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical IT stakeholdersAzure Functions and Azure API ManagementExpert level in Microsoft Power PlatformAdvanced proficiency in Javascript SQL and PythonStrong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices including automated security testing and continuous monitoringExperience designing and implementing microservices architectures and RESTful APIsProven ability to lead technical teams and provide architectural directionStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challengesExperience with full-stack development spanning front-end back-end and database layersKnowledge of security best practices including encryption authentication and authorization frameworksAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (Moderate Risk) background investigationReady to travel for site discovery and deep validation sprints potentially including weekends or holidays to meet mission objectivesDesired Skills and Competencies:Expertise with Power Apps Power Automate Power BI Azure Functions Azure bot services Experience Microsoft Identity PlatformExperience implementing application authentication with or Azure AD B2C for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for interchanging data between internal and external systemsExperience with mobile application development for iOS and Android platformsKnowledge of containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templatesUnderstanding of Section 508 accessibility standards and federal compliance requirementsExperience working in a federal government IT environmentFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologiesOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
