The College/Unit of Student Engagement is seeking applicants for part-time job of Student Engagement ProgrammingUndergraduate Student Worker.
Plan andexecuteWelcome Week eventsforthe first twoweeksof the fall and spring semester. This includesmorningcommonhour andeveningevents.
Assistwith leadingevents andensuringunderstanding ofactivities.
Providesupport andleadershiporganizing and implementing co-curricular opportunities for our diverse student community such astheNittany Excellence Gala De-Stress Festandleadershipworkshops.
Assistwith leading Office of Student Engagement workers during events and ensuring their understanding of activities.
Aid in event marketingsocial mediatheweekly newsletter and developing a communication plan.
Other duties are based on theresponsibilitiesof evolving officeneeds.
The successful candidate must be a current/incoming Penn State Harrisburgundergraduate studentin good disciplinary standing with the University.
The candidate should be a team player self-starter whodemonstratespreemptive thinking pays extreme attention to detail has excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)exhibitsstrong organizational skills andpossessesa proficiencyin Microsoft Office/Excel and management of social media platforms.
Compensation: The starting rate for this job is $15.00hr
