Job Summary

Responsibilities include:

Manage inventory maintenance and proper storage of the wireless microphone system used for musical productions.
Set up test and strike the wireless microphone system for all rehearsals and performances.
Attend and support designated rehearsals and all performances for the high school musical.
Operate the soundboard and all audio equipment during rehearsals and performances.
Monitor sound quality balance and microphone functionality to ensure consistent audio throughout productions.
Identify annual equipment and supply needs for budgeting purposes including batteries headset microphones and replacement parts.
Collaborate with directors and student leaders to mark scripts with sound and microphone cues.
Train and supervise student sound crew members in the safe and effective operation of audio equipment for rehearsals and performances.
Troubleshoot technical issues during rehearsals and performances as needed.
Support the overall artistic and educational goals of the high school musical theater program.
