Job Summary
Experience a rewarding locum providing vital rural medicine amongst the warm outback community spirit.
The Job
Setting: Rural hospital and GP clinic
Hours: Monday-to-Friday clinic schedule with on-call responsibilities 2-3 nights a week
Rate: $2600 per day
Provisions: Return economy airfares or kilometre allowance; self-contained staff accommodation; fleet vehicle for use
Where youll be working
You will be based in a modern 10-bed hospital that provides 24-hour emergency care acute inpatient services and an onsite GP clinic. You will be supported by an experienced nursing team with a welcoming culture. Here youll find a rewarding balance where your medical expertise is genuinely valued by friendly locals and your downtime is spent in the authentic heart of the outback. You can immerse yourself in the towns rich pioneering history or relax at the therapeutic artesian spa and swim laps in the olympic sized pool. Local flights operate from Brisbane.

Requirements
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (FACRRM)
