Location: This position will be based in Juinagar Navi Mumbai India
Role and Responsibilities:
Design/Development/installation and upkeep of test lab equipment in support of test lab objectives.
Preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure 100% safe and reliable operation.
Troubleshooting test station failures by systematic 8-D approach.
Develop maintain and support existing LabVIEW applications.
Cross functional discussions with project owners in defining the scope of experiments and timelines.
Participate in new test station design / P&ID/ development projects and execute the project from concept to final product.
Skills and Experience:
Strong programming skills in NI LabVIEW and Python to develop and maintain automation code for Test Systems.
Work with complex HW systems that have different types of communication protocols such as RS232/RS485 Modbus TCP/IP communication UART CAN.
Reviewing and checking maintenance reports and drawings to ensure quality of output.
Should be familiar with Instrument Selection - All types of field instruments. Exposure to selection of instruments and systems for Hazardous areas.
Familiarity with electrical mechanical and hydraulic test equipment used in the automotive industry is highly desirable.
Should have knowledge of Electrical signals. (High & low Power).
Must-Have:
B.E/ in Instrumentation and control/Electronics.
Minimum 5-11 years of experience in programming automotive test equipment is highly desirable.
Knowledge of LabVIEW programming mandatory PLC & SCADA.
Intermediate level understanding of analog and digital electronics concepts.
