Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventive corrective and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment including:

    • Switchgear MCCs transformers UPS systems and battery chargers

    • Motors generators lighting systems and control panels

    • Offshore power distribution and instrumentation circuits

  • Inspect and test electrical systems to identify faults or irregularities.

  • Replace defective components such as contactors relays switches fuses and circuit breakers.

  • Ensure all repairs are carried out to meet offshore operational reliability and safety standards.

  • Maintain compliance with QatarEnergy / QP / NOC offshore safety rules.

  • Assist in preparing daily maintenance reports and handover notes.

  • Participate in toolbox talks safety meetings and shift handovers.



Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma / ITI Certificate in Electrical or related field.

  • Minimum 58 years of experience including at least 3 years in offshore oil & gas or marine facilities.

  • Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems generators switchgear motors and control panels.

  • Familiar with hazardous area (Ex/ATEX) equipment and offshore electrical safety practices.

  • Knowledge of international standards (IEC BS NFPA IEEE) preferred.

  • Valid BOSIET / HUET and H2S certificates required for offshore deployment.

  • Experience with QatarEnergy NOC or QAFCO offshore projects is an advantage.
