Software Development Manager, Selling Partner Trust and Store Integrity Science

We are seeking an exceptional Software Development Manager to lead the development and productionization of advanced AI solutions that will transform how we prevent bad actors from operating in our store and enable Selling Partners to start and grow their business without fear of disruption so that customers and Selling Partners across the globe trust us and have confidence in the integrity of Amazons store.

This role will focus on developing core infrastructure leveraging large language models and other generative AI technologies to enhance decision-making processes automate complex risk assessment tasks and improve operational efficiency in selling partner risk management.

- 3 years of engineering team management experience
- 7 years of working directly within engineering teams experience
- 3 years of designing or architecting (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience managing and deploying ML products
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and current systems or experience in developing and deploying LLMs in production on GPUs Neuron TPU or other AI acceleration hardware

- Experience in communicating with users other technical teams and senior leadership to collect requirements describe software product features technical designs and product strategy
- 5 years of software development experience with expertise in distributed systems data processing and ML infrastructure
- Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments
- Proficiency with AWS services and cloud-native architectures
- Deep understanding of data pipelines ETL processes and large-scale data processing frameworks

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
