Job Summary
Child and Adolescent PsychiatristCHOC Specialists is seeking a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with a focused clinical and academic interest in autism spectrum disorders to support the continued growth and advancement of the Thompson Autism Center at Childrens Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). This position offers a balanced distribution of effort with approximately 50% dedicated to clinical care within the Autism Center and 50% devoted to providing specialized community-based child and adolescent mental health selected candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care across a range of clinical settings during scheduled hours. Clinical responsibilities include outpatientand as appropriate inpatientpsychiatric evaluations and psychopharmacologic management within a multidisciplinary team-based care role offers meaningful opportunities for participation in academic and scholarly activities including quality improvement initiatives community engagement resident and fellow education research and administrative leadership. CHOC serves as a primary teaching site for the University of California Irvine and supports a strong culture of academic collaboration and professional candidates must be fellowship-trained and board-certified or board-eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and eligible for an unrestricted California medical Specialists a private pediatric subspecialty group practices at Childrens Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) a premier healthcare system based in Orange County Calif.
