About the Position:
This position is located in the Southeast Region of the Department of Defense Education Activity. This region encompasses for school districts in the Southeast portion of the United States.
This is an open and continuous announcement the first cutoff will be 11/17/2025 subsequent lists will be pulled approximately every 3 weeks and/or as needed.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g. professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience including volunteer experience.
There is no specific length of training or experience required. However you must be able to demonstrate through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge skills and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Custodial Worker without more than normal supervision. Applicants should document experience or show the ability to do the following: performing cleaning duties such as mopping dusting and/or disinfecting lavatories and/or maintaining outdoor appearance of facility premises. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
This position is restricted to persons entitled to Veterans Preference; if there are no Veterans preference eligible applicants available non-preference applicants may be considered.
