Role Summary

The Senior Detailer is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for producing accurate 2D drawings and 3D models that support fabrication and construction. This role focuses on applying established standards ensuring constructability and collaborating with internal teams to deliver clear complete and build-ready detailing packages. Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor
  

• Apply company detailing standards templates and best practices
  

• Collaborate with engineering sales production purchasing and fabrication teams to clarify design intent
  

• Revise and update drawings based on engineering feedback fabrication constraints and customer requirements
  

• Support project schedules by completing detailing tasks on time and communicating risks early
  

• Identify constructability issues and recommend detailing solutions
  

• Participate in drawing reviews and incorporate feedback
  

• Provide detailing support during fabrication as needed
  

• Maintain organized project files and documentation within company systems
  

• Uphold a strong focus on quality accuracy and continuous improvement
  

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in drafting detailing design construction fabrication or a related technical field
  

• 4 years of experience in fabrication-based detailing or drafting roles
  

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software with Autodesk Inventor strongly preferred
  

• Solid understanding of fabrication processes materials and shop practices
  

• Strong grasp of 2D and 3D CAD/BIM concepts
  

• High attention to detail and accuracy
  

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
  

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  

• Clear communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
  

• Experience using G-Suite tools including Docs Sheets Gmail and Drive
  

Role Details

This is a full-time exempt position based in Woodland WA. Standard hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with overtime as needed. Employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days. Occasional travel may be required.
