Sioux City Ford Lincoln is looking to fill a key position in our organization that will help to grow our pick-up and delivery service! In this position you will be responsible for picking up customer vehicles and re-delivering them to customers. This individual will be responsible for safely operating customer vehicles from various areas around town to and from our dealership. They will need to be able to accurately log trips to and from the dealership while maintaining professional attire and representation of the store.

Essential Duties:

  • Pick up customer vehicles from customers homes/place of business and bring in for service.
  • Re-deliver customer vehicles from dealership to customer homes and places of business.
  • Be able to log/track vehicle trips back and forth with vehicle trip software on smart-phone.
  • Greet and welcome service customers in a genuinely friendly and courteous manner. Assist all customers promptly and professionally.
  • Install disposable seat covers steering wheel cover and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
  • Identify the service advisor with whom the customer has an appointment and notify that advisor.
  • Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot.
  • Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or as directed by the advisor.
  • Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming telephone calls when necessary answering in a professional and prompt manner.
  • Assist Shuttle driver when needed.
  • Perform various clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
  • Maintain a valid local area drivers license and immediately inform management of any changes in its status.
  • Other duties as assigned Thoroughness and timeliness in completing essential duties.

Other Duties:

  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the companys Vision Mission and Values in all interactions with customers co-workers and suppliers.
  • Adheres to all company policies procedures and safety standards.
  • Answer basic Customer inquiries and refer more extensive inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Dealership management.
  • Realizes that business is built on customer satisfaction and devotes himself/herself to ensuring satisfaction of Dealership customers.

Minimum Qualifications Knowledge Skills:

  • Must be 18 or over & insurable under Dealership commercial insurance policies.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Have understanding of and ability to operate a delivery app. on a smart-phone.
  • Must speak clearly and always convey a professional image.
  • Ability to work well with customers and present a friendly helpful attitude always.
  • Must follow Dealership safety policies and practices and immediately report all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
  • Must speak and write English fluently Spanish fluency is optional but beneficial.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
