ABOUT THE ROLE

As Senior Trade Planning Manageryoullown the online trading and merchandising strategy for applying ecommerce best practice to drive revenue customerengagementand ROI. Think homepage campaigns trading calendar performanceoptimisationand commercial storytelling but in a cashback and affiliate-led environment.

YoullrunQuidcolike a high-performing ecommerce storefront:setting the trading rhythm owning performance targets building compelling promotional narratives and continuously optimising based on data.

Ifyouveworked in ecommercedigital tradingor online merchandisingand enjoy combining commercial ownership creative execution and performance analysis the fundamentals of thisrole will feel familiar just with adifferentand exciting business model.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Leadthe Digital Trading Strategy

  • Lead the end-to-end trading and merchandising plan across working closely with theHead of Commercial

  • Build and manage a clear trading calendar aligned to retail moments peakeventsand merchant priorities

  • Take accountability forbudget managementpromotionalROIandcustomer engagement metrics

OnsiteCampaignsandMerchandising

  • Create high-impact themed campaigns that bring offers to life through strong storytelling

  • Brief and request compelling creative assetsformatsand layouts

  • Write or guide commercial conversion-led copy that drives clicksengagementand revenue

Performance Insight & Optimisation

  • Own performance tracking across campaigns and placementsand translate performance into clear actions and recommendations

  • Use dataandinsightsto optimisecampaign promotional mechanics placementlayoutsandmessaging

  • Monitor competitor activity and keep close to market trends to supportcampaign optimisation

Cross functionalLeadership

  • Partner closely withCommercialto secure market leading cashback rates and exclusive offers

  • Work alongsideCustomer OperationsMarketing DesignandProductteamsto ensure cohesivecampaignexecution

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Strong experience in ecommerce digitaltradingor online merchandisingwith aproventrack recordof owning trading performance and commercial outcomes

  • Comfortable working with KPIs forecastsbudgetsand ROI

  • Experience building and running promotional calendarsmanaging budgets and forecasting costs

  • Commercially sharp with a strong understanding of what drives online conversion

  • Excellent analytical skills with experience using reporting and visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau)

  • Confident shaping conversion-focused campaigns including optimising copylayoutand imaging

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Confident working cross-functionally in fast-paced digital environments

  • Curiousproactiveand always looking to improve how things are done
