This vacancy is for a GSEngineering Technician - Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering located in the Department of Homeland Security U.S. Coast Guard CG ACADEMY ACADEMICS DIVISION.
You will serve as an Engineering Technician and be responsible for the equipment facilities and computer software associated with the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Departments laboratory facilities. You will also assist faculty members with the preparation and execution of various laboratory student exercises including oversight of student work. The mission of the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Department is to ensure that graduates possess the engineering expertise associated with design construction operations and repair of Coast Guard and commercial vessels.
