The Johns Hopkins Hospital is proud to introduce our brand new Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU) a 12-bed unit dedicated to providing comprehensive care for critically ill cardiac medical and surgical patients from birth through early adulthood. Our PCICU manages complex congenital heart disease acquired heart disease heart failure and arrhythmias utilizing advanced medical and surgical management neonatal and pediatric ECMO ventricular assist devices and transplantation.

Role: Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU) Lead Clinical Nurse
Shifts: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and leadership to the PCICU staff oversee care delivery and unit operations in the absence of the Nurse Manager develop and implement procedures utilize conflict resolution recommend resource utilization and manage staff performance.
Qualifications:
BSN/MSN required
Active Maryland or Compact RN license required
BLS CPR certification (AHA Red Cross or Military Training Network accepted)
Minimum of 3 years of pediatric critical care experience required
**Must have authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship applicants will not be considered).
Salary Range: Minimum 43.93/hour - Maximum 68.09/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
