As a Manufacturing IT Software Engineer at Micron you will play acriticaldualrolesupporting the applications and systems that power a highly automated semiconductor fabrication facility. This position combines IT Operations (incident response monitoring reliability engineering) with IT Development (enhancements automationsrootcausefixes) requiring strong technical versatility and the ability to collaborate seamlessly across Development Operations and Manufacturing teams.

You will serve as a site-level owner for key manufacturing applications andparticipatein a 247oncallrotation to ensure high availability of production systems.Therole requires strong problem-solving skills cross-functional communication and the ability to drive both rapid operational recovery and long-term engineering improvements.

Responsibilities

Manage and resolve incidents using ServiceNow ITSM;participatein and lead Major Incident responses as needed.

Buildmaintain and respond to monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system availability.

Develop software fixes automations and engineered solutions to prevent recurring issues.

Validate and approve software deployments ensuring zero impact to live Production environments.

Document system knowledge troubleshooting procedures and recovery processes.

Support infrastructure migrations and serve as an SME across Manufacturing IT systems.

Required Experience and Skills

3-5 years of experience and aBachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related technical field

Experience in IT operations incident management and production system support.

Proficiencyin C# or similar object-oriented programming languages.

Strong SQL experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.

Experience working with REST APIs and web service integrations.

Excellent debugging troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM controlled change/deployment processes and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Preferred Experience and Skills

Source control and DevOps tooling experience (Git GitHub Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines).

Scripting and programming experience (Python PowerShell Perl; Angulara plus).

Containerization and orchestration knowledge (Docker OpenShift Kubernetes).

Configuration management and service tools experience (Ansible Consul).

Monitoring and logging experience (Splunk or similar monitoring tools logging frameworks).

Systems and data-flow experience (basic Linux and Windows Server administration;NiFior similar technologies).
