Job Summary

Pay Rates: 23-40 per hour

Pulse Nursing is seeking compassionate and experienced Paediatric Nurses to join our team and work within a prestigious NHS Trust based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated nurses who are passionate about delivering outstanding care to children and young people in a supportive clinical environment.

Pay rates range from 23 to 35 per hour on PAYE (Days 23 Nights/Saturdays 29 Sundays/Bank Holidays 35) and 27 to 40 per hour under Umbrella (Days 27 Nights/Saturdays 33 Sundays/Bank Holidays 40).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to infants children and young people.
  • Assess plan implement and evaluate care in line with individual patient needs.
  • Monitor patients conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with Trust policies.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including doctors therapists and support staff.
  • Communicate effectively with children and their families offering reassurance education and emotional support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Adhere to all safeguarding health and safety and infection control policies.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin.
  • Paediatric nursing qualification (RN Child).
  • Previous experience working within a paediatric setting.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child-focused care.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
