The Location

Welcome to Cabooltures heart of aged care. Supporting the local Caboolture community for over 70 years and designed with greater needs in mind Fernhill maintains the highest standards of safety governance and oversight while providing residents with truly considered contemporary aged care.

The Role

• Prepare beverages and meals in line with customer requirements
• Handle payments through Point of Sale System
• Assist in service for functions held in designated function areas
• Partake in general cleaning duties within a kitchen food preparation area cold and storerooms including the cleaning of cooking and general utensils used in the kitchen
• Ensure all food is stored at the correct areas and temperatures labelled and dated in line with food safety plan

To be successful

• Food handling Certificate (desirable)
• Barista Certificate
• Demonstrated understanding of food handling and hygiene principles
• Prior experience in similar role
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents families and co-workers
• Friendly positive outlook and ability to work in a team
• Valid working rights in Australia
• NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
