Job Summary

A well-established independent senior school in Nottingham is seeking a thoughtful and academically strong Teacher of History to join its successful Humanities department. The Role

You will teach History across Key Stages 35 including GCSE and A-Level. The department delivers a rigorous and well-sequenced curriculum that develops pupils historical knowledge analytical skills and confidence in extended writing.

Lessons are discussion-rich and enquiry-led encouraging students to engage critically with sources interpretations and historical debates. At A-Level pupils are supported to develop independent research skills and sophisticated argumentation with strong outcomes year on year.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment shaping how the subject continues to develop.


The History Department
