Job Summary
Our client is seeking a reliable and caring Caretaker to join a nurturing primary school in Slough on an ASAP basis. This is a key role within the school supporting a safe clean and welcoming environment for young pupils staff and visitors.
The role is well suited to someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of consistency safety and approachability in a primary school setting.
The Role
Day-to-day maintenance and care of the school buildings and grounds
Opening and closing the school site as required
Carrying out basic repairs DIY and general upkeep
Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed across the site
Monitoring site security and reporting issues promptly
Supporting school events and occasional out-of-hours requirements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience as a Caretaker Site Assistant or Facilities Assistant
Practical maintenance and DIY skills
Good knowledge of health & safety procedures
A reliable flexible and hands-on approach
The ability to work independently and manage priorities
An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
