About the Role
Are you passionate about building strong commercial partnerships and driving strategic growth As a Account Executive / Senior Account Executive at Avarda you will take full ownership of a portfolio of highvalue merchants across multiple markets. Your goal will be to drive revenue growth strengthen partnerships and ensure best-in-class service delivery. The Account Executive / Senior Account Executive will act as a strategic advisor helping merchants leverage Avardas payment solutions to achieve their business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage nurture and grow a portfolio of key merchants across several markets.
Serve as the main point of contact for both operational and strategic matters.
Drive account expansion through upselling crossselling and longterm business planning.
Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and deliver clear insights performance updates and actionable recommendations.
Handle contract renewals and contribute to commercial negotiations.
Analyze account performance (e.g. conversion rates payment method adoption) to identify improvement areas.
Present data-driven recommendations that enhance results and support merchants business goals.
Work closely with Product Risk Support and other internal teams to ensure seamless merchant experiences.
Monitor market and merchant trends to identify opportunities for innovation and product enhancement.
Qualifications & Experience
Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of growing and retaining key accounts.
Excellent relationship-building communication and presentation skills.
Comfortable working with data and KPIs to drive decisions and uncover insights.
Proactive solution-oriented mindset with a high level of ownership and independence.
Solid understanding of payment flows checkout optimization and digital commerce.
Excellent in Norwegian and English language both written and spoken.
Previous experience within payments and/or e-commerce.
Experience collaborating with both external partners and internal stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.
