Were looking for a driven Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help lead our dealership toward continued growth and success. As a key member of our leadership team youll support the General Manager in ensuring profitability operational excellence and a superior customer experience across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the General Manager to manage daily dealership operations and ensure all departments meet performance and profitability goals.
Lead motivate and develop department managers through training goal setting and performance evaluations.
Monitor sales service and financial metrics; provide actionable insights and recommend improvements as needed.
Conduct regular meetings with department leaders to align operational strategies and ensure consistent communication.
Oversee customer satisfaction and retention efforts resolving higher-level concerns as they arise.
Assist with financial planning forecasting and review of monthly statements to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain strong relationships with manufacturer representatives lending institutions and business partners.
Support the creation of marketing and merchandising initiatives that drive customer engagement and profitability.
Champion a positive workplace culture that fosters teamwork integrity and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
410 years of progressive management experience in the automotive industry or a comparable retail business.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of dealership operations.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
Proven ability to analyze performance data make informed decisions and execute effective business strategies.
