Duties

  • Receiving cash or credit cards in payment for merchandise registration or services such as equipment checkout and gives change as required.
  • Maintains record of sales. At the end of shift turns in sales records money customer checks or charge slip and accounts for all moneys and transactions.
  • Provides information concerning availability of goods sold prices and condition of merchandise.
  • Ensures that proper stock levels are maintained; secures stock at close of business.
  • Cleans counter or serving area. Assists with conducting inventories.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Must be willing to accept a varying or rotating shift to include nights weekends and holidays.
  • This position is dual compensation exempt; All GS and NAF employees whether full time or part time are eligible to apply for this position.

Additional information

Initial Cut-Off Date: Wednesday January 28th (Applications must be received by 11:59 PM EST). PCS Costs
  • Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Governments interest.
Allowances and Differentials
  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances cost of living (COLA) and differentials will not be paid contingent upon eligibility.
