About the role
As a parking Administrator you will effectively manage the administrative and operational aspects of the Hospital car parks including the provision of a courteous and efficient car park service to all customers.
You will also provide a strong visual presence and is effective in protecting staff visitors and property through patrols and security duties. Proactively ensures systems and processes related to fire prevention and management are in place.
Essential :
- Solid computer literacy including previous experience using Microsoft Office
- Able to manually handle cash (up to 10kg) and walk for sustained periods
- Able to understand or learn simple mechanical processes
- Able to de-escalate a situation in a safe manner (preferably through verbal means but occasionally may require some hands-on)
- Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to utilise appropriate conflict resolution and problem solving skills
- Assertiveness and a heightened sense of awareness of surroundings
- Honesty integrity and reliability
- Conscientious
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Willingness to work in a rotating shift environment
- Ability to remain calm and tactful when under pressure.
Desirable:
- Comfortable working with or being to taught to use CCTV and access control systems.
