The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the quality control and assurance functions of the Transfusion Services Biologics and diagnostic testing laboratories. This role supports continuous improvement efforts maintains documentation and helps resolve quality issues to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Quality Assurance Specialist will participate in internal audits and help maintain occurrence management and complaint management systems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in Chemistry Biology Pharmaceutical Sciences or related technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience (One year of education equals one year of experience) required.
Ability to interpret SOPs specifications and technical documentation required.
Basic data analysis and report writing skills required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy required.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook etc.) required.
