Pay Rate:
Local: $47/hour
Travel: $55/hour
Shift & Schedule
Shift Type: Day Shift
Schedule: MondayFriday
Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist for a 13-week contract assignment at a leading healthcare facility in Houston TX. The Radiation Therapist will play a critical role in delivering high-quality radiation therapy services ensuring accurate treatment delivery patient safety and compassionate care throughout the treatment process.
Key Responsibilities
Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients
Perform treatment simulations and assist with dosimetric calculations
Operate calibrate and maintain Linear Accelerator (LINAC) equipment
Monitor patients during treatment and promptly report any adverse reactions
Educate patients on treatment procedures and address questions or concerns
Maintain accurate detailed and compliant patient treatment records
Collaborate with physicians nurses medical physicists and other clinical staff
Requirements
Proven experience working with LINAC equipment
Active BLS certification
ARRT-T (Radiation Therapy) certification
Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license issued by the Texas Medical Board (TMB)
