Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Lift Engineer / LOLER Inspector to carry out statutory inspections and assessments on a wide range of lifting equipment. The role requires a high standard of safety awareness technical competence and customer service.

Tasks

Carry out statutory LOLER and insurance inspections on lifting equipment
Attend client sites and issue detailed inspection reports
Complete condition surveys of existing lift installations
Assess compliance with Health & Safety and DDA regulations
Provide recommendations for refurbishment or replacement solutions
Conduct equipment and maintenance audits
Diagnose faults and assess lift performance
Complete all certification and paperwork accurately and on time
Travel independently to customer sites as required
Maintain up-to-date product and technical knowledge
Work safely at all times and deliver excellent customer service

Requirements

Requirements (Essential)

NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in lift servicing maintenance and inspections
Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment
Strong understanding of current Health & Safety regulations
Good written and spoken English
Full UK driving licence

Compliance Requirements (Mandatory)

No sponsorship available applicants must already have the right to work in the UK
Valid passport
Right to Work share code (required if you are not a British passport holder)
DBS check valid DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
