Job Summary

Job Title: Business Process Reengineering Specialist (BPRS) Location: Lansing MI (Onsite) Interview Type: Face-to-Face Experience Required: 15 Years Employment Type: Contract Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Process Reengineering Specialist (BPRS) to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting five long-standing web applications built on .NET SQL Server and Teradata. The candidate will analyze current-state business processes application behavior and data flows to identify gaps impacting efficiency compliance risk and service delivery.

The BPRS will design and implement future-state (to-be) processes and system improvements working closely with DTMB management and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive understanding of five enterprise web applications including architecture workflows business functions and data flows
Provide KTLO (Keep the Lights On) support and contribute to enhancement and modernization initiatives
Analyze current-state (as-is) processes and design future-state (to-be) workflows
Facilitate cross-functional sessions with architects developers QA business analysts stakeholders and security teams
Elicit document and translate clear and testable business requirements
Create and maintain process system and training documentation aligned with SEM/SUITE standards
Guide and oversee Azure DevOps (ADO) usage for agile planning backlog management tracking and reporting
Define measurable success criteria aligned with business and DTMB goals
Provide coaching oversight and training to BAs developers QA teams and SMEs
Lead application modernization and legacy system transformation initiatives

Required Qualifications

Extensive experience in business analysis systems analysis testing documentation training and service delivery
Strong expertise in as-is/to-be process modeling and workflow design
Proficiency in process workflow and data-flow diagramming
Experience creating functional/system documentation test cases and training materials
Proven leadership in full project lifecycle delivery
Experience modernizing legacy systems
Working knowledge of .NET SQL Server Teradata Azure DevOps
ITIL Certification (or equivalent)
Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma concepts
Knowledge of ITIL-based service management and change management
