Registered Nurse Occupational Health

• $55-60 per hour depending on experience and certifications
• W-2 position
• Paid in compliance with federal wage determinations and Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS)
• 1500 hours annually (maximum)
  (Final rate will be confirmed upon contract award.)
  
  

• PRN / As-Needed schedule
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM MondayFriday
• No nights weekends or federal holidays
  
  

• Triage and treat employee injuries and illnesses per established medical protocols
• Conduct wellness and medical surveillance examinations
• Perform diagnostic testing (EKGs vision/hearing exams phlebotomy glucose testing urine dip tests strep screens etc.)
• Administer vaccinations OTC medications and allergy injections
• Provide health education wellness consultations and preventative care counseling
• Maintain accurate confidential medical records in compliance with federal requirements
• Respond to workplace exposures and coordinate appropriate follow-up care
• Collaborate closely with the government nurse and physician to ensure high-quality patient care
  
  

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active unrestricted Kentucky RN license
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience in ER Critical Care Urgent Care or Ambulatory Care
• Minimum 2 years of Occupational Health Clinic experience
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• BLS Instructor certification (or ability to obtain within first 6 months)
  
  

• Ability to pass a federal background investigation
• Willingness to complete required federal training (AT Level I security awareness privacy training)
• Comfortable working under federal policies documentation standards and confidentiality requirements
