Sr. Proposals Engineer EPC

• Optimize the EPC proposal process to improve consistency accuracy and turnaround time.

• Participate in site walkdowns with potential vendors to gather information needed for competitive bids aligned with customer requirements.

• Create and review Scope of Work (SOW) documents based on site walkdowns industry knowledge and process expertise.

• Evaluate vendor bids to ensure accuracy and support bestcost approaches while minimizing technical risk.

• Partner with project teams to develop efficient outage plans schedules and labor strategies.

• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing subcontractors while fostering connections with new vendors to enhance flexibility and options.

• Foster relationships with future potential vendors to increase vendor flexibility and options.

• Collaborate with Procurement teams on vendor qualification processes.

• Assess regional labor requirements prevailing wages and project needs to support installation cost estimates.

• Identify opportunities for termination reuse and other costeffective project strategies.

• Ensure project scope deliverables and estimates reflect Emersons high standards for quality and integrity.

• BS degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related STEM fieldor equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 10 years of relevant experience such as marketing or engineering with emphasis in control systems and/or process operation

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
  

• Knowledge of control systems such as PLC DCS or SCADA.
• Familiarity with the Emerson Ovation platform including space power and grounding considerations.
• Experience developing cost estimates and writing technical proposals.
• Understanding of project labor requirements subcontractor coordination or field installation practices.
