Youll be working in the Data Leakage Prevention team which is distributed around the globe. We provide solutions to support and further strengthen the firms cyber security controls. As an IT Cyber Security Engineer you play a vital role in protecting the firms most valuable assets.
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented software developer to join our Data Leakage Prevention team.
This role focuses on maintaining and evolving our existing DLP plugin infrastructure ensuring robust protection against data exfiltration across enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both Java and C# and a passion for secure software development.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance existing DLP plugin codebases written in Java and C#.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs performance issues and integration challenges.
Collaborate with security engineers to ensure plugins align with evolving DLP policies and threat models.
Refactor legacy components and improve modularity scalability and test coverage.
Manage dependencies and ensure compatibility with enterprise platforms and third-party tools.
Participate in code reviews design discussions and sprint planning.
Document technical changes and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience ) with Java and C# in production environments.
Familiarity with plugin architectures and enterprise software integration.
Understanding of secure coding practices and data protection principles.
Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) CI/CD pipelines and unit testing frameworks.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Prior experience in data security DLP systems (Broadcom DLP Azure Purview) or compliance-driven development.
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Python) for automation tasks
