Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Physical Therapist Assistant role based in Buffalo NY. The Physical Therapist Assistant will work closely with a licensed Physical Therapist to help develop and implement personalized treatment plans perform therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.

Additional responsibilities include educating patients on rehabilitation and home exercise techniques documenting treatment sessions accurately and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive and effective patient care.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge and expertise in physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques
Proficiency in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting home care best practices
Understanding of medical concepts and clinical practices related to physical therapy
Excellent communication skills with an empathetic patient-focused approach
Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license to practice in the state of New York
Experience supporting patients with diverse rehabilitation needs is a plus
Commitment to staying current with advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques
