Location: M4 Corridor Reading to Bristol
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to 38000 - 48000.00 plus overtime travel time No call out!

Our client is a growing security technology company specialising in enterprise-level integrated security systems. Theyre expanding their engineering team across the M4 for a dedicated client of theirsand seeking an experienced Service Engineer to deliver fault-finding maintenance and technical support to their varied client base. Position Overview
As a Service Engineer youll play a key role in maintaining and supporting our clients integrated security systems for enterprise clients. Youll carry out planned preventative maintenance diagnose complex system faults and provide technical support to keep systems running smoothly. Your work directly impacts client satisfaction and system reliability making you essential to the organisations success and reputation in the security sector.
Responsibilities
Maintain and fault-find integrated security systems including CCTV and access control
Carry out planned preventative maintenance schedules to prevent system downtime
Diagnose and resolve system faults using strong technical troubleshooting skills
Support clients with technical queries and provide clear guidance on system operation
Complete accurate documentation and maintenance records for all work undertaken
Participate in the call-out rota to provide emergency support when required
Ensure all work meets health and safety standards and company procedures
Requirements
Proven experience as a Service Engineer in fire and security or electronic security
Strong fault-finding skills across CCTV access control and intruder alarm systems
Familiarity with systems such as Lenel Genetec Milestone or Galaxy (or equivalent platforms) is beneficfifal but not essential. Training provided.
Full UK driving licence with a clean record
Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to participate in call-out rota arrangements
