Synechron is looking for an experienced and dynamic Java Developer to lead our development team. This role involves designing developing and maintaining enterprise-level Java applications and systems with a focus on scalability reliability and innovation. The successful candidate will drive technical excellence collaborate across teams and contribute to the organizations strategic goals by delivering high-quality software solutions that meet complex business requirements.

Overall Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of Java developers to deliver high-quality scalable solutions.
Analyze business and technical requirements to design effective Java-based applications.
Develop test and deploy robust enterprise applications aligned with organizational standards.
Oversee code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to ensure system stability.
Stay current with technological advancements in Java and related tools recommending enhancements as appropriate.

Experience Requirements
At least 7 years of professional experience in Java application development.
Proven track record leading development teams and delivering enterprise-scale Java solutions.
Extensive experience working with Java frameworks and integrated development environments.
Solid understanding of database architecture design and management.
Experience in cloud deployment and microservices architecture is advantageous.
Candidates with equivalent experience demonstrating leadership and technical expertise will also be considered.
Day-to-Day Activities
Lead daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives to ensure project progress.
Manage team assignments review code quality and foster best practices.
Design and develop new features and enhancements for enterprise Java applications.
Troubleshoot issues optimize performance and ensure system reliability.
Collaborate with product managers QA and DevOps teams to align development efforts with business objectives.
Maintain documentation of system architecture design decisions and technical procedures.
Stay informed about emerging Java technologies and incorporate them into ongoing projects.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Advanced Java certifications (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE 11 Developer) are preferred.
Commitment to continuous professional development through relevant courses certifications or workshops.
Experience working in large enterprise-level environments with complex systems management.
