Job Summary
Synechron is looking for an experienced and dynamic Java Developer to lead our development team. This role involves designing developing and maintaining enterprise-level Java applications and systems with a focus on scalability reliability and innovation. The successful candidate will drive technical excellence collaborate across teams and contribute to the organizations strategic goals by delivering high-quality software solutions that meet complex business requirements.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Java (latest stable version Java SE and Java EE)

  • Frameworks: Spring Hibernate Struts

Overall Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers to deliver high-quality scalable solutions.

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design effective Java-based applications.

• Develop test and deploy robust enterprise applications aligned with organizational standards.

• Oversee code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to ensure system stability.

• Stay current with technological advancements in Java and related tools recommending enhancements as appropriate.

Experience Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience in Java application development.

• Proven track record leading development teams and delivering enterprise-scale Java solutions.

• Extensive experience working with Java frameworks and integrated development environments.

• Solid understanding of database architecture design and management.

• Experience in cloud deployment and microservices architecture is advantageous.

• Candidates with equivalent experience demonstrating leadership and technical expertise will also be considered.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Lead daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives to ensure project progress.

• Manage team assignments review code quality and foster best practices.

• Design and develop new features and enhancements for enterprise Java applications.

• Troubleshoot issues optimize performance and ensure system reliability.

• Collaborate with product managers QA and DevOps teams to align development efforts with business objectives.

• Maintain documentation of system architecture design decisions and technical procedures.

• Stay informed about emerging Java technologies and incorporate them into ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

• Advanced Java certifications (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE 11 Developer) are preferred.

• Commitment to continuous professional development through relevant courses certifications or workshops.

• Experience working in large enterprise-level environments with complex systems management.
