Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the full-time position of Associate Director People & Culture Labour Relations Focus based out of our Administration Office in Prince Albert Saskatchewan.

Are you an experienced and visionary Labour Relations professional with a passion for shaping a positive high-performing and legally compliant workplace across multiple locations business units collective agreements and non-unionized environments The Associate Director People & Culture focuses on providing strategic leadership in labour relations team member experience and the employee life cycle while supporting the full People & Culture portfolio.

You will partner closely with the People & Culture team and leaders across the association to build capacity strengthen culture and ensure our people practices reflect our mission vision values and commitment to delivering an exceptional team member experience. Shape the future of Labour Relations and Workplace Integrity: Take the lead on labour relations activities from investigations and grievance management to collective bargaining support. Youll be the expert who helps navigate legislation and collective agreements with confidence and clarity.

Guide People & Culture Strategy: Provide leadership and influence the People & Culture talent performance development onboarding compensation and workforce planning programs policies and practices that shape our team members experience. Who You Will Work With: As a member of the People and Culture Team and reporting to the Vice-President People and Culture you will collaborate with and advise Team Leaders and Team Members across the entire organization.

Discover Prince Albert: Prince Albert often called the Gateway to the North is centrally located along the banks of the North Saskatchewan River about 140 kilometers north of Saskatoon. As the third-largest city in the province it serves as a key hub between the southern prairie regions and the vast boreal forests to the north. Just 50 kilometers away sits Prince Albert National Park known for its pristine lakes dense forests and abundant wildlife. Who You Are:
You have a bachelors degree in human resources and hold your Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) designation or equivalent; Co-operative Retailing System experience is an asset.
You have 5 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience with team leadership experience and the ability to coach mentor and develop teams and leaders.
You have Certified Canadian Professional Investigator (CCPI) or Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) training.
You bring extensive experience in labour relations including investigations collective bargaining and unionized environments.
You have a strong knowledge of Saskatchewan employment legislation and HR best practices.
You have a proven ability to build relationships influence leaders and navigate complex situations with discretion and professionalism.
You have exceptional communication problem solving and decision-making skills.
You possess a commitment to equity inclusion and fostering a positive workplace culture where everyone can thrive.
You participate in on-going professional leadership development experiences.
You carry a valid Class 5 drivers licence.

NOTE: This role involves travel throughout Lake Country Co-ops trading area and may include overnight stays for investigations or training purposes.
