Job Summary

Summary

Come join our aquatic team with your lifeguard certification and skills as well as your First Aid and CPR training you will ensure the safety off all dedicated military members civilians and families as they enjoy the amenities of this indoor pool.

Duties

Performs and/or assists in operation and maintenance of aquatic facilities. Establishes schedules of events as well as the rules and regulations to be observed. Ensures the swimming area is open to patrons at scheduled times and only authorized persons are admitted to the area. Ensures the safe operation of the pool its filtration system water balance pool chemistry and performs water testing. Types of duties include but are not limited to the following: Tests water and equipment for safe operation; demonstrates safety and techniques for swimmers; sets up for events; inspects facilities and equipment for security and general conditions and that repairs are made; schedules areas for use. Rescues swimmers in trouble promptly administers first aid and calls for medical assistance if and when needed. May perform other related or incidental duties as assigned for the daily operation of the swimming area to include: cleaning of bath houses wading pools main pools pool decks beach areas sunbathing areas etc.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.

  • Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
