Truck Driver

Responsibilities:
o Transports large Ag equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities; may also pick-up new equipment from a John Deere factory
o Supports the sales department with equipment delivery as needed
o Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts
o Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT OSHA and company policy
o Accounts for all time and for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties
o May need to maintain assigned trucks and related equipment in good condition
o May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required
o Position may require pulling two units together an equipment over 100 feet in length
o Position requires speeds as slow as 25 mph or as equipment manufacturer requires.
o Rate of pay depends on experience

Experience Education Skills and Knowledge:
o 1 years experience as semi-trailer truck operator
o CDL License
o Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs. repeatedly
o High School diploma or equivalent experience
