Do you enjoy working at a fast pace and have high attention to detail Do you enjoy a position where you get to move around a lot We are looking for a motivated individual to join our growing shipping department. Duties include a full range of shipping tasks related to orthodontic appliances typically weighing 1-2 lbs. Work requires a high degree of dependability attention to detail and ability it remain calm under pressure.
Full-time Schedule: Monday through Friday - 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma GED equivalency or currently enrolled.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States by completing an I-9 form.
- Ability to read write speak and understand English.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk and carry parts materials etc.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure to meet deadlines.
Requirements
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Reliable and consistent punctuality and attendance
- Ability to recognize types of appliances being shipped to determine which brochures to include with shipment.
- Ability to determine correct shipping terms to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ability to apply work instructions and follow procedures for each type of shipment whether domestic or international.
- Ability to understand and follow requirements of the quality system procedure as defined in standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Safeguard and protect confidentiality of company and patient information as defined by the companys Confidentiality Agreement.
- Follow all safety requirements.
- Understand and use personal protective equipment where required.
- Understand how ones performance can impact the success of the organization and product quality.
