Job Summary

Primary Responsibilities
Summary The College of Education is seeking an experienced Certification Officer to serve as our chief expert in certification office-related operations. Duties include but may not be limited to anything involved in the green screen interface and coordination of shared understandings and processes connected to considerations of TAC compliance. S cope SBEC / TEA / TAC governed educator preparation facilitated out of the SRSU and SRSU -lnternational College of Education. Duties Oversees TAC changes and needed implementations. Clarifies and rules on admissions and removals and purged inactive candidates. Directs implementation of TAC rules with regards to certification forms or affidavits SLL changes. Liaison with TEP / EPP faculty on behalf of EPP Staff; needed changes to curriculum. All EPP Admissions including UG and GR and ASEP add as OE; All TExES Testing Approval. Reporting TExES attempt results to coordinators; Results Analyzer. Remediation and Practice Tests retesting TExES. Multi-tool audit tracking. End of Program: Flip to Finisher. For Interns: Statement of Eligibility and recommending Intern Certificates. Out of State or Country Verifications. Candidate Transfer Forms. Upload State Reporting Data (field exp and observations). Annual Performance Report- number of applicants. EPP Leadership Team member. Back up SLL administrator if needed. Curates and coordinates exam preparation support in cooperation with the TEP Coordinator. Other duties as assigned. Supervision Received: Reports to the Dean of the College of Education. Working Conditions Usual: Eight-hour workday forty hours per week with some early or late hours depending on workload; and attendance at various university community and school activities. Any qualifications to be considered in lieu of stated minimums require the prior approval of the Human Resources Director.
