This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval award amount (up to $200000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

This position is located at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit addition to the clinical practice of diagnostic and interventional radiology the Staff Radiologist performs other duties which includes quality assurance performance improvement oversight of technical quality education of staff and trainees tumor board and other multidisciplinary conferences committee assignments and other activities that support clinical operations mission values and goals of the John D. Dingell VA Health Care System. The Detroit VA is affiliated with the Wayne State University School of Medicine and is a key member of the Detroit Medical Center complex. The Staff Radiologist will be working with a great team of radiologists and technologists support staff and will enjoy the following new top-of-the-line medical imaging systems being installed currently at the Detroit VA: a 3T PET-MRI a 3T wide-bore MRI a dual source multidetector CT XR systems 2 Fluoroscopy systems and an Angiography suite.
