Job Title: Machinist
Location: 84 Spring Lane
Department: Manufacturing
Role Overview
The Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machines to perform machining operations on both solid and porous metal materials to close tolerances. This role also includes fitting and assembling components as required to meet production and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine solid and porous metal products to detailed specifications.
- Machine highpurity porous metal products while meeting strict quality standards.
- Straighten and round porous metal products as required.
Major Challenges
- Meeting highpurity visual and cleanliness requirements.
- Demonstrating flexibility to change tasks and reprioritize work as needed.
Expected Performance Outcomes
- Meet established production rates for cutting tubes.
- Maintain job transaction accuracy greater than 80%.
- Manufacture parts that comply with dimensional and visual quality specifications.
Required Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical school training or 12 years of manufacturing experience in machining.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to accurately read measuring equipment.

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $42500.00 - $63700.00 depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.Benefits Package
