In this role you will be responsible for operating a sewing machine designing upholstery cover patterns and cutting plans for boat interiors based on sketches customer descriptions blueprints and work orders.

This position is a DIRECT HIRE role that is a long-term need for my client. This role must be worked ON-SITE.

Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial sewing; experience with canvas and upholstery required
Experience with Juki sewing machinesis a plus!
Ability to measure and cut new covering materials using patterns and measuring and cutting instruments
Ability to meet schedule and budget for projects including working overtime when necessary
