Job Summary:

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Engages in the Rec Well professional internship development curriculum all staff meetings divisional committees and other professional development responsibilities and opportunities.

  • Prepares and monitors budgets and purchases expenditures as needed
  • Coordinates logistics for events and programs
  • Develops targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals
  • Identifies proposes and implements new or revised operational policies and procedures
  • Assists in implementing the staffing resource allocation plan including hiring training and supervision

$22.50/Hour

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong communication leadership and organizational skills
  • Experience hiring supervising and mentoring student employees
  • Ability to manage merchandise equipment and inventories
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Proficiency in management software such as Fusion SubItUp Connect2Concepts or Microsoft 365
  • Experience operating recreation sport or fitness areas

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a higher education setting for a minimum of one year (preferred)

Education:

  • HS Diploma Required
  • Bachelors Degree - Achieve or advancing towards Bachelors degree or higher in a related field.
