Job Description:
Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Aircraft Technician A (Electrical) to join our H125 Final Assembly Line team based in Columbus MS.
You will be part of the team to perform work on assigned aircraft or parts in the avionics function. Configure and conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems. Diagnose malfunctions or failures and make adjustments repairs or replacements of parts or components.

Your working environment:
On the eastern border of Mississippi youll find Columbus home to our Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. Its here that we produce the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.

Your challenges:
Perform configurations of complete systems.
Conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.
Conduct bonding checks of electrical installations.
Use a variety of standard and specialized hand tools power equipment measuring devices and test equipment in completing work assignments.
Perform work from blueprints sketches vendor and service manuals and other source data to obtain dimensions locations alignment tolerances and other specification requirements.
Your boarding pass:
Minimum of four (4) years of experience assembling/installing electrical/electronic components preferably on aircraft.
Avionics and Cabling Class (like offered by East Mississippi Community College) is desirable.
A current A&P or FCC license is preferred but NOT required.
Familiarity with common aviation type tooling.
Citizenship:
US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
