Job Description

Job Title - Mainframe Developer

Experience - 4- 10 Years

Location - Chennai

Notice - Immediate to 15 Days

Requirements:-

Design develop and maintain applications using COBOL JCL DB2 VSAM and CICS optional
Perform impact analysis estimation coding unit testing and defect resolution.
Provide L2/L3 production support including abend resolution and batch monitoring.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering and solution design.
Participate in code reviews documentation and quality assurance processes.
Handle version control and deployment using SCM tools like Endevor preferred (Changeman ISPW PANVALET.)
Lead or mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making.
Engage in client communication and status reporting.
Preferred Tools & Technologies
Languages: COBOL JCL SQL
Databases: DB2 VSAM (IMS DB/DC Optional)
Operating Systems: z/OS MVS UNIX
SCM Tools: Endev or( Changeman ISPW PANVALET).
