Job Summary

Description

Take a pivotal role in developing entirely new safetycritical control technologies for the next generation of aircraft - firstofitskind electromechanical actuator control units for air taxis redefining the Urban Air Mobility segment.

You will lead and manage complex R&D projects and coordinate work on multidisciplinary engineering teams. You will lead a small group of project engineers responsible for individual work packages.

This is a hybrid role 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.



Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex engineering development programs from initiation to completion.
  • Define project scope objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Develop and execute project plans including timelines budgets and resource allocation.
  • Monitor progress identify challenges and drive timely resolution.
  • Assess communicate and mitigate technical risks.
  • Collaborate with a global team to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
  • Report and negotiate with senior management ensuring alignment with company and customer needs.


Qualifications
  • University education in an Engineering field.
  • 7+ years experience in leading complex R&D projects/programs experience with various project management tools and methodologies risk management and problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent command of the English language for regular spoken and written communication across the company.
  • Team player with ability to consult the team self-motivated individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision while consistently taking the initiative to complete tasks without being prompted.
  • Ability to navigate through a fast-paced environment with conflicts of priorities.
  • Technical expertise in aerospace engineering principles and practices is advantageous.
