A Painting Supervisor manages painting projects by leading crews ensuring quality and safety handling materials scheduling and communicating with clients/managers focusing on efficient budget-friendly completion to industry standards. Key duties involve planning assigning tasks inspecting surfaces and work training staff managing supplies troubleshooting issues and maintaining project records and compliance.

Core Responsibilities:

Project Management: Plan schedule and oversee painting projects ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.

Team Leadership: Supervise train and mentor painters assigning tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.

Quality Control: Inspect surfaces and finished work for adherence to specifications standards and proper application techniques.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce health safety regulations and company protocols on job sites.

Material & Equipment Management: Order manage and control inventory of paints supplies and equipment.

Client & Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients project managers and other trades to provide updates and resolve issues.

Documentation: Maintain records of progress materials labor costs and submit reports.

Key Tasks:

Review project blueprints and specifications Prepare surfaces and ensure proper mixing and application Troubleshoot on-site problems and non-conformances Participate in client/consultant inspections and Manage subcontractors activities if applicable.
