Job Summary
The Yard Foreman is responsible for supervising daily yard operations ensuring work is carried out safely efficiently and according to project schedules quality standards and company procedures. The role involves coordinating manpower equipment and materials within the yard.
Requirements
- Supervise day-to-day activities in the yard and allocate work to technicians and laborers
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with HSE rules and company policies
- Conduct toolbox talks and daily safety briefings
- Coordinate with supervisors engineers and planners regarding work schedules
- Monitor productivity work quality and progress against targets
- Oversee loading unloading storage and movement of materials and equipment
- Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of the yard
- Inspect tools machinery and lifting equipment before use
- Report incidents damages and near misses promptly
- Maintain daily work reports manpower logs and material records
- Support maintenance fabrication repair or logistics activities as required
Required Skills:
Required Qualifications & Experience High school certificate or equivalent 13 years experience in gate control security or administrative roles preferred Experience in yard warehouse or construction site operations is an advantage Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel / log systems) Ability to handle documentation accurately
