Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit Picker - Walvis Bay to join our dynamic automotive logistics team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy efficiency and timeliness of parts and components picking within our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick automotive parts and components from designated storage locations based on picking lists or digital systems.
- Verify part numbers quantities and specifications against order requirements to ensure precision and prevent errors.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe working environment in the warehouse adhering to 5S principles and safety protocols.
- Operate manual and powered picking equipment (e.g. hand trucks pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team leads supervisors and colleagues to resolve discrepancies and support workflow continuity.
- Report damaged missing or incorrect items promptly to prevent delays in order fulfillment.
- Follow all health safety and compliance standards in line with automotive industry best practices.
- Support daily inventory checks and cycle counts as required.

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Must be physically fit and capable of standing walking lifting and bending for extended periods.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment with good interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting with variable shifts including early mornings or weekends.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS) or digital picking tools.
